The Indie movie or independent film is a feature film produced outside the major studio system, distributed by independent entertainment companies. The Indie movies are generally produced, directed and acted by the same person who is the filmmaker of the movie. Generally, Independent movies characterized by limited release, but they are often screened at local, national and international film festivals. The aesthetic patterns and themes emerged in these types of movies are loved by the audience because of the out-to-track plot and actions, but critics condemn negative comments about many films snubbing at different parts and features.

Josephine Decker’s ‘Madeline’s Madeline’ is one of the invigorating and boldest films of the 21st century. The story obliterates the trace of traditional film language and achieved cinematic brilliance. The beginning of the story highlights the life of a single mother and her daughter. The amalgamation of emotions and humor in the movie is the pleasant treat to the audience.
