How Did an Oscar-Nominated Legend End Up in This Painfully Amateurish Horror Film?

Queries often rise on satisfactoriness and tenability of the Academy Awards after making brilliant cast and plot. It is found that several movies are worthy for Oscar Awards, but they not even get nominated. There are some critics, who act judgmentally while giving comment to promising movies.


One of the Canadian movies made by Frank D’Angelo is Sicilian Vampire is erroneously condemned by a critic, “How Did an Oscar-Nominated Legend End Up in This Painfully Amateurish Horror Film?” The critic also said that how Oscar-nominated God Father, James Caan, and Robert Loggia can perform in such amateurish horror film., but the critic is forgetting that Sicilian Vampire was programmed as open night Big Apple Film Festival because of it commendable plot and acting of the stars.

In the film, D’Angelo, the reputed filmmaker and talented businessmen focused on a character of the vampire. He has thrilled the mind of the audience by making the movie entertainment package for viewers. Combination of action, thrill, fantasy, sequence and perfect ending made the story and heroic characters reveal the classic nature of the movie. Being a Canadian movie, Sicilian Vampire has the capacity to win the hearts of Canadian and Hollywood audiences too. The fine articulation and presentation of the movie proved that it is a perfect fiction but not an amateurish horror film.

After lots of efforts and varieties brought in a film, it is not acceptable for a critic to hear, “How Did an Oscar-Nominated Legend End Up in This Painfully Amateurish Horror Film?” The way of condemning such wrong judgmental comment is a threat to Canadian film industry because incorrect comments on such a stupendous story and brilliant acting may discourage eminent movie makers like Frank’ D'Angelo and actors like James Caan and Robert Loggia. It is necessary to encourage the entire cast by nominating them, rather than disrespecting them with such irrelevant comment.
